Academic advising is provided by the Office of Counseling Services.
The Office of Counseling Services provides academic advising services to all interested students throughout their studies at RPCC. As a part of these services, counselors and advisors assist students in selecting a plan of study that is consistent with their academic and/or career goals. Counseling Services staff members also provide help with and/or information about the following:
- Course selection and scheduling
- Placement testing
- College policies and procedures
- Personal issues that may be interfering with academic success
- Career concerns
- Transfer issues/resources
- Study skills information
- Time management
- Decision-making skills
