River Parishes Community College to open Monday for classes

Gonzales -   River Parishes Community College will begin classes on Monday, August 22. The college will be open for registration on Thursday, August 18 and Friday, August 19.

 

The college has waived late fees for students who have not yet registered.

 

The college’s buildings remained dry during the recent flood, according to its Chancellor, and is ready to accept students.

 

“We want to make sure we help our students can get some normalcy back in their lives as soon as possible,” Chancellor Dale Doty said, “Students are welcome to register without a late fee. “

 

River Parishes Community College focuses on building the workforce of today and tomorrow through specific skill training and providing transferrable courses and curricula leading to certification and associate degrees. RPCC works closely with its communi­ties to provide programs for personal, professional and academic growth.
