Jared Eusea has been a member of the mathematics faculty at River Parishes Community College (RPCC), since August 2009. During his service at RPCC, Mr. Eusea has been an active member of the faculty, serving on numerous committees for program assessment, improvement and accreditation. He has been instrumental in redesigning the developmental math sequence at the college and has served as the lead faculty member of the LCTCS statewide committee to provide course commonality for developmental mathematics courses across the thirteen colleges, reducing time to completion. Further, Mr. Eusea has been a faculty sponsor of several student clubs and most recently has been named National President-Elect of Gamma Beta Phi. In addition to these numerous accomplishments, Jared has also been instrumental in moving forward improvements in online teaching and learning through implementing a two-year enhancement grant to train RPCC faculty in Quality Matters. Along with being a great teacher and excellent employee, Mr. Eusea is simply a great person – absolutely deserving of this award!
