RPCC Foundation

Foundation-LogoRiver Parishes Community College Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization established to provide assistance to RPCC by promoting the educational and cultural welfare of the College and its facilities; articulate the aims, objectives and needs of the College to the public; and solicit and accept gifts, grants, and funds of all kinds, including property, for purposes of providing scholarships, teaching and training equipment, and other designated benefits for RPCC and its faculty and students. Primarily, the Foundation provides scholarships for students in all fields of study at all campuses.

Mission Statement: The RPCC Foundation ensures the sustainable development of RPCC by attracting philanthropy and engaging in advocacy and strategic partnerships to advance the college and benefit the students it serves.

Make a Donation 

  • Annual Fund – supports scholarships and faculty initiatives that enhance the student learning environment; donations of all amounts are encouraged and accepted; the RPCC Faculty and Staff support the Annual Fund as do the Foundation Board Members
  • Endowed Scholarship – major donation that establishes a named scholarship; may be eligible for matching funds; Current endowed scholarships include:
    • Solomon-Acy Endowed Scholarship to assist students with disabilities or medical concerns affecting their ability to attend college
    • Lambert Family-Curt Eysink Endowed Scholarship for Allied Health Students with priority given to students who have been affected by cancer
    • NOVA Chemical Scholarship for Process Technology or Instrumentation & Electrical Technology Students
    • TIC Workforce Scholarship for Allied Health Students
  • Endowed Professorship – major donation that establishes a named professorship; supports scholarships and faculty initiatives within a designated department
  • Room Naming – major donation to name a room, laboratory or other physical location for a pre-established period of time; these funds support scholarships and faculty initiative
  • Storyboard Program – minimum $5,500 donation to display your company’s history, values, products, community involvement, etc., on a wall in a campus building for five years
  • Hunter Lambert Memorial Scholarship
  • Everett Scott Memorial Scholarship
  • Marathon Petroleum First Generation Scholarship for Minorities &/or Women majoring in PTEC
  • Marathon Petroleum First Generation Scholarship for PTEC majors
  • Marathon Petroleum Process Technology Scholarship
