Transferring Credits

Determining Transfer Equivalencies

Once students make the decision to transfer to another college/university, they immediately wonder if their RPCC credits will count towards the fulfillment of their degree requirements at the transfer institution. Students should discuss this matter with both an RPCC counselor and a representative from the transfer institution. The transfer institution always makes the final determination as to how credits will be applied towards a degree program.

Students transferring to a public Louisiana university should refer to the Transfer and Articulation page on this web site for more information about course articulation.

Requesting Transcripts

When applying to the transfer institution, you will be required to submit an official copy of your RPCC transcript.
