Community Education classes are designed to equip students for further education, workforce entry, and personal growth. Topics covered include digital literacy, financial literacy, health literacy, and job readiness skills. Courses include the following:

• Digital Literacy
  • This self-paced course equips students with essential computer and internet skills for daily life, employment, and further education. Topics include foundational computer skills, internet navigation, email usage, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as social media basics, information literacy, career search strategies, managing a digital footprint, and accessing telehealth services.
     
• Job Readiness Skills
  • The job readiness course provides individuals with the key skills and knowledge needed to effectively find, secure, and maintain employment. These competencies equip candidates to present themselves professionally, perform well in their roles, and adapt to workplace expectations. Core job readiness skills include effective communication, professionalism, work ethic, teamwork, collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization, time management, job search techniques, and self-management. Together, these skills empower individuals to confidently navigate the job market and succeed across a variety of work environments.
     
• Financial Literacy
  • This self-paced financial literacy course equips students with essential financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and responsible credit use, empowering them to make informed financial decisions.
