Payment Deadlines

Payment Methods

  1. Payment Plan: Pay your tuition monthly.
    Payments are processed on the 15th of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full. If a credit/debit card is used, a convenience fee, in addition to the $30 enrollment fee.
  2. Online Payment: Pay tuition in FULL electronically.
    Check or credit card (MasterCard, Discover, Visa, or AMEX).
  3. In Person: Gonzales Campus:
    Pay by cash, check or money order
  4. Mail: Check or money order to:

NOTE: All payments are processed upon receipt.

Refunds

  • If a student withdraws from classes or resigns from the college (e.g., drops all classes) before the first day of class, a 100% refund of tuition and fees will be made.
  • Refund overpayments begin after the 17th day of class for regular sessions and 10th day of class for 8-week sessions.

Transact Payments – Payment Plan Information

Setting up payment installments has never been easier. Simply log into LOLA access your Student Account for River Parishes Community College Self-Service Banner and Select Payment and Payment Plan Processing.

Timeline for Payment Plan Installments:

Students are able to set up a payment plan immediately following registering for courses each semester. Depending upon time of registration, students may have 1 - 5 monthly installment options. The timeframe to sign up for payment plans begins upon priority registration and ends as indicated on the table below.

Fall Spring Summer
Priority Registration - September 15 Priority Registration - January 15 Priority Registration - June 15

*All Transact Payment Installment Payments Plans (IPP) are due monthly on the 15th

Cost to Participate:

  • $30 enrollment fee per semester
  • $25 returned payment fee – assessed if a payment is returned (NSF) by Transact Payments
  • After two returned payments, students are no longer eligible for a payment plan
  • $10 fee for late payments – assessed by Transact Payments

Installments:

Due Monthly on the 15th

Note: Installments are tuition & fees divided equally, with 1st installment due immediately upon enrollment.

All cancellations or modifications to plans must be performed by the student enrolled.

Simple Steps to Enroll:

  • Visit LoLA – https://my.lctcs.edu
  • Click Registration Fee Assessment – to view your bill or click on Self Service – Student Account – Account Summary
  • Click on Payment Options at the bottom of the screen and it will redirect you to Transact Payments-SmartPay for online payments & Payment plan set up.

Please read through the payment dates and the Terms and Conditions before you click the SUBMIT button. An immediate email will be sent (if an email address was provided for the person responsible for payment) confirming enrollment of the payment.

Balance Adjustments

Reviewing your Account Information is important. Your transactions can be viewed via Self-Service Banner. Students are expected to be aware of the registration changes that may cause a recalculation of tuition and fee cost, financial aid in occurrence to applicable refund policy.
