RPCC Foundation Scholarship and Workforce Tuition Assistance Information

RPCC Foundation Scholarships and Workforce Tuition Assistance are made possible through charitable donations to the Foundation and are provided to assist students with educational expenses. These scholarships are awarded by the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee in compliance with any applicable donor designations. It is not required but highly recommended that scholarship applicants complete the optional section of the scholarship application as some of the available scholarships have unique qualifiers.

RPCC has partnered with AwardSpring for an online scholarship & tuition assistance application and notification process.

Foundation Scholarships

To be eligible for a Foundation Scholarship, a student must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student in an academic program with at least six scheduled hours and have a current FAFSA on file.  Academic programs include Associate Degree programs including but not limited to General Studies, Process Technology, Louisiana Transfer programs, and other credit-based technical programs such as Practical Nursing, Medical Assistant, AC & Refrigeration, and Welding.

Award amounts for RPCC Foundation Scholarships are dependent on funds available, but range up to $2,000 per semester. Details regarding eligibility and deadlines as well as the Scholarship Application can be found at RPCC Scholarships.

Workforce Tuition Assistance

The Foundation also offers Workforce Tuition Assistance of up to 50% of costs of non-credit programs such as Crane Operations, Scaffold Building, and Non-Destructive Testing. Awards are based on available funds and the merits of the applicant as described in the application and supporting documents. The Application can be found at RPCC Scholarships.

If you are interested in donating to the RPCC Foundation Scholarship Fund or establishing and Endowed Scholarship – contact the Foundation at [email protected] or 225.743-8763.

3rd Party Scholarships

RPCC accepts all scholarships earned by students, even those not offered through RPCC. We have put together a list of optional scholarships you may apply for. RPCC is not affiliated with these scholarship opportunities.
