Boutte, LA - River Parishes Community College (RPCC) hosted the second annual Rex and the Krewe at the United Way of St. Charles campus with Chromebook giveaways, free food, campus tours and more on July 13th from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. 

This event was sponsored by Dow and the RPCC Foundation. This event was open to the community and anyone looking to explore the education opportunities that RPCC offers. 

At this event, there was opportunities to apply to the college in-person with the help of the recruitment and admissions department. Tours of the campus was also provided. There was also a chance to learn about scholarships like the MJ Foster Promise Program. 

“This event is a great kick off to our new fall semester, we appreciate Dow for their sponsorship,” said St. Charles Campus Director Penelope Shumaker.
