Southern University Law Center's Office of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives is partnering with River Parishes Community College to host an expungement event for St. John Parish residents on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the River Parishes Community College Reserve Campus, located at 181 Regala Park Rd, Reserve, LA 70084.

The Expungement Initiative is designed to address barriers to employment and create pathways for individuals seeking to rebuild their lives. Clearing eligible criminal records can significantly improve opportunities for employment, housing, education, and financial security, allowing residents to build more sustainable futures for themselves and their families.

During the session, residents will have the opportunity to have their criminal records reviewed to determine their eligibility for expungements.

RPCC's Adult Education and Workforce Training divisions will be on hand during the event, along with currently hiring business and industry partners. This collaborative approach offers attendees valuable opportunities to make connections and take the next step on their education and career journey.
