Workforce and Career Training

River Parishes Community College’s (RPCC) Workforce Division provides strategic training and development for business & industry in the local and regional area by offering customized programs to help optimize training and meet performance goals and targeted outcomes.

Our Workforce Development Division also provides non-credit, short term courses, and programs for individuals who are seeking to enhance their skills or obtain new skills. Many of the courses and programs allow individuals to earn an industry-based certification. If you want to start a new career, change careers, or update your current skills, these programs will help you learn the skills and get the credentials you need to quickly get into the workforce.

RPCC partners with global corporations to provide customized training, open enrollment courses, and professional seminars. We focus on many areas including welding, industry, computer science, information technology, healthcare, and many more!

Nurse Aide Testing

River Parishes Community College (RPCC) recognizes the need to facilitate certification testing for individuals who have completed approved Nurse Aide Training (NAT) programs or have followed other Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) approved alternate routes. This policy outlines RPCC's commitment to providing testing services for a diverse range of candidates, including RPCC students, third-party program completers, and individuals eligible for alternate routes as determined by LDH.
